Todays Echo - Brush's view on transfer activity

On the back of todays Echo there is a short story about the lack of activity and Paul Brush basically says that they expect movement next week once teams start pre-season.

He says that at present they make enquiries and because of holidays arent getting a call back for a week but this should change next week.

Nothing to surprising there but hopefully this will at least calm peoples expectations who may be expecing a signing this week....

Yep exactly right. I think what some people have to realise, and they have, is that this is the time of year where players go on holiday to rest, and therefore there is no/hardly transfer activity, unless it is a free transfer.
