Today, collective thoughts...

J

The Chameleon
firstly, well done to the support that followed the team, loud and proud all the way through the game...secondly, what a superb goal by Freddie "the king" eastwood. When was the last time we had a direct strike from a free kick go into the corner of the net?
thirdly, a bit of a downer, i do not think tesfaye was at all at his limits, very half hearted...
and the food prices...not impressed, but very delicious may i add

overall a quality day had by all i feel. And its a shame that kiddie could be on there way to the conference, very friendly club and nice people (except for the steward with the tea cosey on his head, who saw fit to start lashing out at sufc fans when the third goal went in, and wild celebrations took place), especially in the social before kick off....
And barrett, what a bloke....10/10 for todays performance, he showed fire and passion...which sometimes our side have been lacking.

I thought £3.50 for the Hog roast was bloody good value.

Maybe someone from Roots Hall could learn from the Kidderminster catering....top class.

I'd much rather pay £3.50 for the delicious, home cooked, food at Kidderminster than the inedible (but only slightly cheaper) crap served up at places like Yeovil.

Hope Kidderminster stay up - always a good trip with the food being the icing on the 3 points.

Agree with nearly all CS J has to say except for Tes comments.

Thought Tes did well considering he is out of position. Few good tackles, wom more headers than normal , run at his defender a few times and beat him and finally played a super eye of the neddle pass to Fred which could have put us 2-0 up and killed the game.

Also Barrett was IMENSE...Totally unbeatable. I cant ever recall seeing a SUFC defender dominate a game so much as he did today.

Finally Nicky - Thought he has great again today and the look on his face when his gaol went in was worth the trup from which I have just got home from. Well done Lads

I agree about Barrett's performance, he was amazing!! Let nothing past him and, IMO, the man of the match!

Tes I thought did ok. Had a couple of decent runs down the right wing and caused the Kidderminster defenders a few problems, but he was let down really by what seemed to be lack of fitness as when we were under pressure for a while it looked like he was struggling.

Very pleased for Nicky, a really good goal and the way he played I thought he deserved it.

Excellent - hopefully, you'll have just seen the e-mail I've sent to Scriv (copied to all the Exiles) so that he can pass on our congratulations to Nicky.

Sod the name-check stuff - I'm totally chuffed that he's scored his first ever league goal, surely a massive red letter day for any footballer!

Just checking my e-mail as I type Matt.

Amazingly chuffed I was. I saw Adam Barrett outside the ground yesterday after the game and I half considered asking him to pass on my congratulations to Nicky, but it kinda slipped my mind.

Ah well, hopefully Scriv will do it for us today (if he's around).

What a great result...i would like to know though why it takes a goal for the team to wake up....at 1-0 up i couldnt see us scoring again....but then as they scored it all changes and we bang in 2 good goals....why cant we do this without having to concede a goal.....we need to learn how to kill teams off i think after grabbing the first goal.....

everyone had a good game i though especially nicky, eastwood, barret.

Also i think that Gray is alot better on the right wing with playing dudfeild up front best use of hes pace!

I was not only lucky enough to see his first goal but also to be int he centre of a Nicolau , Petts hug as the goal went it. Got the sweat of Nickys head of my hands. Very tempted not to wash it off for fear he wont get another..

Seriously tho thought he was immense yesterday.

Well done Nicky, fantastic effort, and well deserved. He seems to be really level headed, many youngsters would have walked out saying "ive trained with Henry and Pires, how can you not play me", but he has worked hard. He is a really nice guy, and he really deserves this moment, heres to many more to come!!

CONGRATULATIONS NICKY
