To all the boo boys

I was in the West and also didn't hear any booing. I did hear frustration, but I heard that whenever we misplaced a pass, regardless of who it was.

Before half time my dad said that Walker looked like he was very low on confidence, and I agreed. We all know that he doesn't have a great first touch, but can be pretty good on his day. You could see his confidence return after the goal. He was visibly quicker, and chased more balls down, and even attempted an overhead kick which wasn't a million miles away.

I actually thought the crowd were quite supportive last night, considering how dire the game was and also the performance.

There are players out there that are playing way under their ability , but players need to take responsability for themselves when they cross that white line & these players know who they.

It was a good night for Mildy, I know there is another thread on here for him, but just thought as I am on a 'boo boy' thread, I could include this.

But certain players need to take a long hard look at themselves, some of the players last night were not up to the challenge of Telford, and whether we like it or not, these players are supposed to be 1st team players.

Rant over, through to the 2nd round and looking forward to further additions of the same calibre to the ones we have lost being added to the squad.

here is your quote from the Mildy thread

i agree with J, he made only his 2nd good save of the season, and yes i know hes not played much due to federici but still 2 saves doesnt make him a good player all of a sudden i bet you missed the corners and crosses he came out flapped at and missed last night and also what about all the goals we conceded with him in between the sticks i bet you with feds we would of conceded half that amount

Little bit pot and kettle with you and the "boo boys" don't you think!

If it wasn't for Mildy we would not still be in the FA cup this morning!

Last night at times was beyond booing and actually bordering slapstick. Scannell tried and tried but Walker just stood there and made no effort for about 60 minutes.

Francis, well, erm. Yeah, Francis.

The others who had a shocker will know what they need to do and hopefully they will get the chance to resolve it in the coming weeks.

Heard no booing in East yellow, just despairing moans!

There was booing at half time, don't believe the ref had done a great deal wrong at that time so can only assume it was aimed at the players.

Walker got much better when Ademeno came on and whilst he didn't play that well for the majority of the game, he wasn't the worst out there.

It was invevatable that the crowd was going to boo at half time , if the players and management think that the 1st half performance is exceptable then there is something seriously wrong .

Even the dire hardest of supporting teams like Liverpool boo when they feel there is no effort being put into a game .

I would of thought that Tilly was going mad at them in the dressing room because if i showed that amount of effort in my Saturday sides standard i'd defo be on the bench the next game and some of the players are very lucky that we are on our bare bones in our squad otherwise they'd be a few warming the bench in weeks to come .

Anyway best to draw a line under this game and move on , but it doesn't fill me with confidence about the team when all the loanees go back . we look very very average .

I agree. I couldn't see who they could bring on that would make any difference - it was dire. When Ademeno came on he looked strong and interested.
Even Macca seems to wake up - then he got booked!
I'd just said to my friends - Walker has no striking instincts - and he scored! VERY happy to eat my words!

walker isnt a goalscorer think thats obvious, great goal and that overhead kick kick was really unlucky! buthe holds the ball very well, he could learn to realise the ball quicker but he normally puts in 100% when he plays. i thought last year we should def sign because he shows a lot of potential and could be really good if he got a run in the team.. just at the end of the day unfortunatly for him barnard, freedman, laurent and revell are ahead of him on the pecking order.

incidently now we've lost HRK, i would love to ademeno play wide and be given a go.. he looks really hungry to play! it wont happen though

Ademeno looked hungry (and effective) when he came on, but I think the change in fortunes after the substitution was as much to do with reverting back to 4-4-2. The players are obviously far more comfortable with it as a formation, and for three quarters of the match last night it was like re-watching all those god-awful pre season games and the associated diamond formation tom-foolery...

 couldn't have but it better myslef jocko!x

Best moment of the game, bloke behind me had barely got the words 'Walker is useless' out of his mouth before he scored, oh how we laughed. But on a more serious note this is yet another example of the clubs money spent on player who isn't up to it.
