Timlin avoids rib break but Hunt faces further fortnight out

True, Hunt's fitness has been poor. But when he has played hes looked a different class. Well worth the punt to try and get him fit because he is summit else.

It would be difficult to top that.

Shame for hunt but he will be back to add to the competion up front very soon which only keeps other forwards on their toes and looking over their shoulder, great player to have start a game and can make all the difference when coming from the bench for 20 mins or so.

More a case of being booted from behind, there is a difference. He has already won us vital points at the start of the season and his influence on the other forwards is already showing. He has already shown us how important he is v Coventry, Peterborough and even as sub v Scunthorpe. I still think we will see a lot more from him.

His latest injury came as he was fouled from behind whilst shielding the ball out ........... I'd put that in the "right unlucky" category rather than the "crock" category.

Hunt proving to be the crock many predicted

This has already been discussed to death- his injury record is in fact very good. And if he is a crock then so is Timlin, Coker, Thompson, Barrett, McLaughlin, Hurst and so on.

All players get injured whether they are 20 or 30- the stats say Hunt is less injury prone than most. I am sure we can rehash all the stats again if they were missed the first time around..

We'll be climbing that table as soon as we get him back to peak fitness.

he has a mountain to climb now

This whole thread is a real cliff hanger. Hopefully after a long but not for Ever est he will scale up his fitness and help give us a hold in the league to help us free climb to the dizzy heights of the Table Top.
