Tilson scouting at Torquay Vs Accrington

I read the Echo that Tilson was watching Torquay Vs Accrington, he must be looking at Accrington's G. Robert as he is their top scorer with 8 goals from right wing (also play at left or up front).

If Tilly was at Torquay-Accrington I'd say it's a near certainty he was watching Roberts as he's an extremely talented player. Scored a very well-taken goal on the day too.

I went to watch Lincoln vs Accrington at the end of August. Gary Roberts was very impressive all night and really stood out. He is a talented left winger with an eye for goal. Very quick and tricky with a superb left foot. He scored their only goal that night.

If you get the chance to watch Tilly's interview on Bluesworld, when Scriv mentions how well MC is doing at the Cobblers, Tilly is less than whole hearted in his comments - says we have had him watched two or three times, and basically if the Cobblers management think he is doing OK that's up to them. I certainly didn't get the feeling we would be seeing Mitch back anytime soon.

Roberts' goal at Torquay was pure class.

He's an interesting player certainly. I can't imagine Tilly would care too much about any of the others on show. Certainly there weren't any defenders worth looking at, unless he's thinking of getting Stev Angus back!

He's obviously keen on one person in particular though as surely he wouldn't go all the way to Torquay to watch that game otherwise!
