But I fear throwing in the big guy might not do us many favours right now, it may make things worse! because of comunications and stuff. I have been on holiday the last week, I dont no who played against Watford but maybe that was a chance to see a few reserves in action.

Perhaps that will give him the kick up the backside he needs? He's been in a huge comfort zone for the last few years. Yes, of course, he deserves that after the amazing job he did to get us up twice. But people seem to think that this makes him exempt from criticism. He hardly ever gets vocal stick at matches, and perhaps a little bit of it would make him realise that changes need to be made.

It depends who they are defending against doesnt it? Its not rocket science that you counter the type of threat that is presented. Tall attacker = tall defender...smaller agile attackers = barrett & clarke..etc

throw in richards and adam - garry is the no nonsense lad that can get rid of the ball when necessary, and adam is there to mop things up...failing that just throw zoltan in - sod the language barrier - i played footie for a local belgian team 2 years ago when working over there and didnt have a word of french - keeping the ball out of the net is a universal language so it didnt matter!!!
