I wonder if there is an FA charge for 'Impersonating a match official'

Too be fair we were robbed against Barnsley in the Cup, the goal was clearly hand ball. I spotted it in East Reds, how neither the ref or his assistant who must have had a better view than me is embarrasing.

Away at Barnsley last season, the second goal (I'm sure it were that one) was a foul on Flahavan either directed related to the goal or in the build up, not 100% sure on which.

I've never hated a Club and wished them bad, apart from Col Ewe for obvious reasons, but Barnsley have now joined the list, the way they CHEATED us in the cup the other day was sickening. I really do wish them bad!

C'mon, it's not Barnsley's fault that the ref has given a couple of decisions in their favour.

Bradford, Ricketts, Colin Todd on the other hand....

The Ref didn't put his hand on the ball and then gloat about it to his mates though did he.

That's a serious accusation to make. An official shouldn't gloat about making a decision (right or wrong) to anyone. How do you know he did this?

Mike , you misunderstand. the forward handled the ball and gloated, it was a response to the comment that Barnsley were not to blame...

Thing is Tilly will go along admit the charge. The moment the panel hear him speak they'll laugh and wonder how the ref was intimidated by squeaky and slap Till on the wrist.

Think tilly should go along to the hearing with a T shirt on with a picture of their player handling the ball to illustrate the mitigating circumstances.

Also should everyone who was at the game go along too seeing as I imagine there was a fair amount of foul and abusive language towards the match officlials coming from the stands.....

You're right. I was sitting even further away (West Family Stand) and said as soon as it went in, ``That was handball''. This was without the use of video replay or anything, I could see from 100 yards away the bloke had handled it so how did the ref (on edge of box) and assistant (directly in line with it) NOT see it?

What's more, I'd complained all game that there was a post in the way of the goal at the North Bank end ... and I STILL saw it was handball!

The FA can f%ck off, they really are a bunch of tossers!!

What should he have said "Well done, you did really well to miss the foul, the offside and the handball, keep up the good work"

Or " You f%cking p%&ck, what the hell is wrong with you, c%&t!"

Maybe we should copy Charlton and counter-sue the FA/ref for gross incompetence and costing the club £250,000 from a 4th Round tie with Spurs and see what type of measured reaction we get from them for that.

or nothing?

I take your point, the officials made a big mistake and it is bloody annoying, but I didn't see Tilson berating Gower for missing an open goal, or Guttridge for the woeful pass that led to their goal.

I think players and managers should keep their mouths shut as it only gets them suspended or fined.

Leave the abuse to us fans!

Two match touchline ban and £300 is about the going rate.

There was NO foul on the keeper, you cannot tell if he was offside from either the highlights or my position in the West Stand but it looked unlikely. However it sure looked like handball !

Gower didn't miss an open goal, he missed a sitter yes but not an open goal. He fired it straight at the keeper.
