I am so annoyed that we seem to have signed some very good signings at this football club but for some reason the management/fans have chosen to accept an inbalanced squad lacking ideas as acceptable.

Fact: We need a decent righ/left winger to play opposite gower. Husbands is clarky mark 2 and Kightly still has a lot to learn.

Fact: Bramble and gray are very very lazy and will not do enough to gain promotion.

Fact: Corbett is one of the most gifted players in our team yet for some reason has not even made the bench.

Fact: £16.50 to watch this level of football is a disgrace.

Fact: Leon constantine scored most of his goals on the wing so its no surprise that we aren't creating anything from out wide.

Fact : Kevin maher will lose his place when Jay smith is fit to partner Bentley. Although i think this will benefit him.

Fact: Crowds will plummet if our performances do not improve quickly.

Fact: No doubt i will be called a negative non supporter.

Fact: I dont really care!!

Tommy... you appear to have great difficulty distinguishing between fact, opinion and speculation; so, to assist you, I've done the job of re-labelling them properly for you.

I'd say it was also an opinion not a fact that we need a new left/right winger. Personally watching Kightly in the games he has played, he has proven he is technically gifted enough. He needs regular first team experience now to prove himself even further and not to play in the Under 19's. I also believe he will be involved when he does return from injury as well.

cannot do anything else but agree with you... after three games we are already looking over our shoulders at Chester & Shrewsbury, who are thankfully JUST keeping us in the league... and if we get back in there again [as we did against Cheltenham on the opening day], I am certain we will stay there for the rest of the season and be playing Canvey Island next year! I am not looking forward to our next game against Cambridge, who I suspect will be up for this one and hammer us 0-10... there will be chants of "couldn't score in a brothel", "Tilson out" and "what a waste of money", promptly followed by a demonstration in the west car park...

Ooooh b@ll@cks!, I said I wouldn't make another prediction 'til we're safely mid-table!!! that's torn it... DOH!

They've only played 1 game to our 3... but they're unbeaten though! which is more than we can say!!!

Alas i find myself agreeing with alot of those points but whils't i don't agree in giving it till christmas when the season is half way, lets give it a few more games before we judge too much. Although i do agree its poor to say the very least atm.

I think Xmas is a great time to judge how well Tilly & Co are doing... We'll be pushing for a play-off spot around that time and we will respond with a rousing round of applause!

And then what ? Sack him ? If that's what you or anyone else on this board thinks then you need your heads examined. I haven't seen any of the games so far this season and apart from West Ham next week, won't see anymore until the game against Boston on October 8th, therefore I have refrained from passing any comment on the season so far, but for people to be saying AFTER 3 GAMES, that we will need to examine the position is just crazy. If we had won the 1st 2 games and then had the same sequence of results that we are in at the moment, nobody would even contemplate any changes and nor should they. What this CLUB (that's everyone - players, manager, board, fans etc) needs is stability and confidence, and we won't get that by changing the manager yet again or letting idiots who haven't got the 1st clue about what it takes to manage a football team, cause unrest and disharmony.

So a message for all the moaners and whingers -

STOP ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF 5 YEAR OLDS, BUTTON IT AND GET BEHIND THE TEAM AND THE MANAGER.

Some excellent points I totally agree.

Except I think Bramble could do well for us this season and I believe that our best Midfield pair is Maher and Smith. Apart from that spot on!
