The man in charge of Saturday's match at Lincoln is Peter Quinn from Cleveland.
He is a second year referee and, based on appointments, not one of the better second year officials. He was recently given his first Championship appointment and I think it's fair to say it didn't go well.
He will be refereeing Southend for the very first time but has refereed Lincoln 3 times before (home victory over Barnet, home defeat to Shrewsbury and a very controversial away defeat at Notts County at the back end of last season).
I have never seen this official and can't comment on his style or ability. He has had a red card in 4 out of his last 6 matches, but his yellow card count is bang on the average.
He will be assisted by Neil Hair from Peterborough (who recently when refereeing a Blue Square match sent off a goalkeeper after 10 seconds) and Nick Hobbis from Birmingham. One of the two Steve Cooks on the list, this one from Derbyshire, will be 4th official.
