Tigers in Kenya.

This has me quite puzzled, as I have been to Kenya twice.

There are no Tigers in Kenya unless they are in a Zoo.

Absolutely correct. Someone here is mental.... either the woman or the reporter.

Maybe they have lions and tigers mixed up.

Tigers are found in Asia NOT Africa.
 
She won the award for it...which beggers belief that someone on the Echo didn't pick up on it.

The picture, called Tigers at Play, is one of several inspired by a trip to Kenya in 2007.
I'm guessing that it's just badly worded and is supposed to mean that she went on a trip to Kenya in 2007 where she developed an interest in the African wildlife, and then took the picture, called Tigers at Play, somewhere else, afterwards. Only guessing.
