Vice versa here. I'm (not) ashamed to say I loathe American football so AGS just doesn't appeal. I'll abstain though, unfair to judge a film I've not seen.

Although due to Mrs DS i follow the NFL results I don't generally watch it - can't generate the interest, but it is pretty much the ideal sport to make into a movie. And I'm a sucker for a sports movie. I would highly reccomend watching it.

And the scene ESB put up is absolutely superb, legendary even.

It's one of my favourite scenes of any movie... It's a shame because the original version of the film doesn't do itself justice, there are problems with the shooting and it seems to jitter between scenes. Stone adressed this though in the directors cut and hacked 12 minutes out of it, put in an additional six and it's a much better film for it.
