Tickets on sale on the day

See official site, tickets on sale on the day from 12pm from 101 St. Mary's Street (2 minutes walk from the main entrance at the Millenium Stadium).

again, no one cares. the people that are going will have bought their tickets by now and this just means that absolute randoms can buy tickets on the day should they be passing.

i have this feeling we aren't going to do too well but the more i think. the players will do it for the loyal fans who have turned up yet again.

oh and yes it will look rubbiish if all of 5 men one woman and her cousins dog turn up scattered all over the place but who cares if we get promotion. but obviously creating an atmosphere counts...

Eh?

Indeed, i did hear. But i didn't understand, hence the 'eh?'.
To be honest, what harm can it do selling tickets on the day. There must be some fans that couldn't get down to Roots Hall this week, and who's only hope was for tickets to be sold on the day. And if it means them getting in to the game then it's a good thing surely?

No I said that tickets that haven't been collected can be picked up from 101 street and it's a point for ticketing queries not that they are for sale.

?? To quote the official website, and in a completely separate paragraph from the collections from RH until 7pm today point:

Any unclaimed tickets will be returned to Cardiff and be available from 101 St Mary's

I don't think it's unreasonable to read this as meaning tickets on sale on the day and I guess many people will read it that way (which I guess was your intention). I'm sure you'll be posting an article to that effect at 5pm today.

No actually it is written to imply that if you've bought a ticket this week and are yet to collect it and fail to do so by 7pm tonight you can get it at the Mill Stad.

... and they probably will be for the next LDV. What's that got to do with play off tickets.

What's the big secret are they or are they not on sale on the day. Why are you making a meal of this?

Information not riddles please.

Perhaps there is an "Official" time to announce this.... and (purely speculating) maybe Dave didn't want to break the rules about this, which is why he worded his announcement so carefully so that there wouldn't be any chance of him getting into trouble for letting the cat out of the bag, by tipping us off after so many SZ'rs were getting worried about being able to buy on the day - which of course he didn't, 'cos he's not supposed to...

Excellent news, i will now be going to the game.

Being an Exile i can't get to Roots Hall at any stage and as i wasn't paid until today i couldn't even get one early week to be sent out.

See you all at the game, and hopefully a better result than previous visits.

Well I for one will be buying a couple of tickets on the day because web problems meant I couldn't buy them that way. The official site clearly stated that telephone sales had to be picked up from Roots Hall, and short of taking a day off work that wasn't going to happen.

I doubt we've sould out or they'd be yelling from the rooftops.

See you all there tomorrow, I'm off to Cardiff now and staying in a B&B across the river from the stadium.

Mike.

Kim Mitten & MikeInNewbury - Brilliant news guys, thats a few more !!

Lets hope more people are thinking / doing the same, see you guys there

Ron Martin confirmed in this evening's Echo that tickets will be on sale on the day.

It's not too late to be at the promotion party

Good try to defend our media manager as always (he clearly enjoys some sort of special status as every minor criticism of him or the website is pounced upon; every time he posts news that the club has acted on a suggestion from the Trust, he is personally lauded to the rooftops).

HOWEVER Ron Martin stated in the Echo that you could pay on the day. The Echo copy was probably in before mid-day.

Why, in that case, was our media manager producing hints and counter hints. Why was he not saying "no problem if you haven't got your ticket, get down there and support the lads!!"?

Anyway, enough of that. Now's the time for togetherness and support!
