Question Tickets on Easyjet ???

DTS

The Business
I am taking the Mrs on a no expense spared trip next weekend to Budapset.

Now being the classy guy that I am I have booked us a couple of bargain bucket seats on Easyjet.

I havent done an Easyjet flight for ages. Am I right in saying that all you need to do to get your tickets is take the booking refernce to the check in desk.

I have memories of having to print of your own ticket but maybe I am thinking of Ryan Air?

Any help welcomed...

Thanks
Dave

I generally just take the print out of the confirmation email that they send you, which contains the booking reference. Quite often they don't even look at the reference as they can obviously tell who you are by looking at your passports. If you take the print out anyway you can't go wrong. No need to faff around with online check-in or any other such nonsense with Easyjet.

No expense spared you would be on BA - tut tut

Dave, presume you will need to check bags in (& that you bought the privilige for this when you got the flights?) If so, you will need to take your passport & booking ref details to the check in desk.

If not (& you can get away with walk on bags) you can check in online. Just print your check in details & take it to security as you go through to departures.

You can't reserve seats on easyJet but you can get on the plane as priority to get the first choice if you pay the extra for Speedy Boarding.

Me & the family & the outlaws booked up for going to Lake Como next summer, 4 adults & 1 child return to Milan, £400 all in. Happier that easyJet now seem to be operating more like Go (who they merged with) rather than Ryanair.

£400 on Easyjet! You'll probably land at an airport miles from the city as well :D

That is £400 all in, not each! Goes into Malpensa which is what we need for Como, think it's an hour into central Milano though!

Malpensa will suit you fine. It's a nice modern airport, unlike the dark and drab Linate that is much closer to the city centre and therefore tends to be favoured by the business travellers.

Last time I was in Linate, my flight was delayed by five hours and there wasn't a single window in the departure lounge. Airport security also took it upon themselves to completely dismantle by CD player, leaving me with a collection of parts! :madman:

Easyjet didn't so much merge with Go as take over their slots which used to belong to BA when they bought them out.
Personally I always liked Go(they used to operate a Barcelona/London service)since you could book a(free)reserved seat at check in.
As you say you can do(something similar to) this with Easyboarding on Easyjet but you have to pay for the privilege.
Still I'd rather fly in and out of Barcelona city airport anyday than drive up to Girona for a RyanAir(shudder)flight.

Cheers mate,

We are only taking hand luggage as want a quick on and off at the airports etc etc.

Do I get an email to check in on line?

Don't worry about tickets Dave you should be more concerned with some decent footwear for the sprint to the planeand maybe some padding and possibly a helmet ready for the scramble in the boarding area.
