Ticket Prices for Play Off Finals

Vange Shrimper

Just been talking to a mate who's a Dagenham fan about the price of tickets for the play off. Apparently, for League 2 play off, it's about £40-£50 and for the Championship play off, it's £80 a ticket!

I know it probably sounds reasonable to some of you, but I cant get over how expensive it is to see a game between Cardiff and Blackpool!

I guess for League 1 Play Off Final, it must be somewhere in the region of £60-£70 then?

Not strictly true... As always at Wembley, the ticket prices are staggered depending on where you want to sit. For the C'ship final they range from £98-£36 for Adults and £49-£18 for kids.

My York v Oxford ticket was £35

My Chelsea v Pompey ticket was £95 (best seats) but cause i got it from a tout at 3.07 p.m. who was desparate to sell, i paid £80. First time ever i've got a ticket from a tout for sub value. 1973 league cup final spurs v norwich, i paid £3 for a 60p terrace ticket. Thats correct, those were the prices then. 1971 spurs v villa final, terrace tickets were 30p!!!.

I was thinking this same thing Vange Shrimper. A couple of good friends are Daggers through adn through and we've had some great banter over the last 10 years and to be fair to the Daggers they ahve had a remarkable ride and it's a great time to be a supporter of the West Ham fan rejects!
Anyway, I offered to plod along with them to Wembley assuming tickets to be around the £20 mark but heard back that they are going to be between £35-40! The stadiums not even going to be three quarters full so it would be a shame if the prices end up staying this way.
