Now, im not one for moaning but this has to be said...

Last night the Automatic ticket point, for those that had ordered online was in a word f%&ked, now whilst I can understand these things happen surely they should have at least two in operation in case this sort of occurrence arises..

There should of been a club official present to explain this as nobody knew what the hell to do apart from a poor steward who was inundated with questions.

Also this caused major queues which stretched out into the car park as some of the online orderers thought that they had to join the back of the queue that the matchday buyers were in.

Eventually most realised a separate queue was forming for online orders, but some to their credit waited patiently in the rain amongst the matchday purchasers.

Im sure for some this was a real off putting situation, I personally heard several people saying " This is a joke, I ordered online and dont know what to do now the little machine isnt working, wont bother again"

Not what we want to hear really is it, especially as some of the complainents were obviously first timers.

Something the club need to address, to avoid any of these shambolic scenes occurring again for the remaining home games this season and beyond.

Other than that, the club shop/ticket office staff did a sterling job in what was a very busy night for them, for which they must be commended.

I have been going for 10 years Smiffy, and last night I took my old man, who has been converted...slowly I may add...to a fully fledged Shrimper.
Waiting 30 minutes into the game at the West bank ticket office to collect pre-paid East stand tickets in the pouring rain, and then being made to sit in a restricted view North West seat did little to increase his enthusiasm in his new club.

I feel the club need to do the right thing and pay up. I was extremely upset with the off-field events last night!

Some people will complain about anything. We had to queue up out into the car park to pick up our tickets and wondered whether we'd make it in before kick off (having started to queue before 7pm...) but within ten minutes we had our tickets and we're heading for the East Stand.

Props to the ticket office staff for working through what could have been a stressful situation for all involved.

As mentioned, these things happen..

But If only a club official was present this situation could of been dealt with much better

I think the Stadium manager did a good job, his prioty was to get the few hundered fans queing (in a pitch black shop!) into the game A.S.A.P - and doing a tenner on the turnstile to get the fans in quickly was a good idea. Unfortunatly there were alot of fans and the situation was solved i feel in the best way. I feel sorry for the staff that got stuck behind and missed a brilliant game!
