Ticket office?

Why is it that while all our home fixtures are now listed for sale online (welldone for listening SUFC) it doesn't seem possible to buy anything apart from tickets for our next game against Hatlepool on Sat.?
Because half season tickets are now on sale. They will give that this week to sell and then put Boxing Day tickets on sale next Monday.

Personally, I've always thought you should only get the free tickets if you pay for a full price ticket.

So those with services, child and OAP tickets shouldn't have this option? So none in those groups would have any friends that they could take, enjoy the game, and become season ticket holders of the future?

Isn't that the point of offering this perk?

Blimey...

But you could get a Childs season ticket for free this year, but then use it to collect 3 adult tickets.

Personally think a like for like would be ok and if they wanted an "upgrade" then the difference should be paid

That's a good point - I've only ever got free kids tickets for when WS Junior wants to bring his mate. Arsenal fan but there is a chance he'll see the light...

I have just tried to get a ticket for Boxing Day which is 3 weeks away - yes three weeks away and the only ticket I can purchase is for this Saturday game
I know they have put on sale half season cards but in honesty do they really think they are gonna sell that many!
It is ridiculous that you can’t be tickets until the last minute and we should be able to purchase a home ticket for any home game during the season

Agreed. Surely a perfect time to get friends and relatives along to RH, but can't tell them for sure if/where they have a ticket or can all sit together etc.
Most people need to have plans in place for Boxing Day and it doesn't suit all to have a ST.

It's not that. The point is these people are already getting a reduced price season ticket, so why should they get a full price ticket for free? It's practically giving money away, and something I've always thought an unnecessary expense for the Club. I know there are many who don't use the free tickets but that is my own personal view. As said above, like for like would be a much fairer way to do it.

Regarding Boxing Day, from an earlier question on ticketing which Rylee responded to:

Tickets go on sale 2-3 weeks before each fixture. Due to the constant improvements that are being made to Roots Hall, including the slow increasing of capacities (for example Block X and the rest of the North Bank) it is not possible for us to release tickets on sale earlier than this period. Tickets for our Boxing Day fixture against Ebbsfleet United will go on sale on Monday 16th December, once half season card sales have been on sale- allowing supporters to secure their seat for the second half of the season.

That isn’t 2-3 weeks 🫣
