Ticket office?

So those with services, child and OAP tickets shouldn't have this option? So none in those groups would have any friends that they could take, enjoy the game, and become season ticket holders of the future?

Isn't that the point of offering this perk?

Blimey...
But you could get a Childs season ticket for free this year, but then use it to collect 3 adult tickets.

Personally think a like for like would be ok and if they wanted an "upgrade" then the difference should be paid

I suppose you have you looked at it from the club's view. If they opened up the remainder of the matches potentially the empty seats could be snapped up for 1 or 2 games, which would then result in that seat potentially not being available for a season ticket holder to purchase.

Would be interested in how this works st other clubs? Can tickets be bought for future games alongside the sale of season tickets?

Could restrict season ticket sales to just beginning of the season. After that window closes all matches are open for individual tickets etc to be bought. That would also help those exiles that have other logistical challenges (flights / trains) to be able to book them in advance rather than last minute style.

Yeah I get it and some of the points but it plays havoc in trying to forward plan and also if I wanted to purchase a ticket as a gift/surprise etc for someone in advance I can’t
There has to be a better way or at least open up for a month in advance
Tickets go on sale 2-3 weeks before each fixture. Due to the constant improvements that are being made to Roots Hall, including the slow increasing of capacities (for example Block X and the rest of the North Bank) it is not possible for us to release tickets on sale earlier than this period. Tickets for our Boxing Day fixture against Ebbsfleet United will go on sale on Monday 16th December, once half season card sales have been on sale- allowing supporters to secure their seat for the second half of the season.

I sort of have some understanding but I still don’t get why we cannot purchase the Boxing Day ticket as half season cards only start from January. We should still be able to purchase a ticket for a home game and their computers should be able to manage this other clubs do

Thanks for asking but guess I will have to wait then
