SUFCFANS

Coach
Hi, are there any details for FA Cup and FL Trophy tickets yet? I reckon £15 would be a fair price.. Also, which games got selected for TV??

I reckon they should do a package deal for ST Holders - get tickets both games for a combined cost of a tenner, would be a nice gesture with Christmas coming up and should swell the crowd at both games.

I think the club should do both cup game tickets for £20.00 adult and £10.00 consessions/season ticket holders to get the fans through the door again

People keep suggesting deals but I presume that both Swindon and Preston have a say in the pricing..?

That's the problem. It's not as simple as saying £10 for this game and £5 for that.

Given that Preston charged £5 for season ticket holders and max of £10 for adults, they are unlikely to complain !!

Other than the issue of whether our opponents have a say in the pricing, I think it is disapointing that many of the fans that came along for a fiver have not become part of the normal attendance ....... despite our performances and our league position ......... well, that is my reading of the situation so far.

So, given the number of home games coming up along with the Christmas period, I would be looking at some sort of offer (or deal) that involved committing fans to coming to 2 or more games.

I think you may be just a little premature with your disappointment over the £5 match deal......two independent people who came to that match have stated that when they went to see their own teams subsequently (Arsenal and West ham), they felt that the better option was the SUFC match, as the dirge being served up for far greater cost higher up the leagues was not worthwhile. I think these people will return but will chose their games......unless of course there is a further financial inducement

I think £25 for the two games is abour fair.

I think even if you charges usual fees we could get say 4500-5000 for each game (Swindon will bring a lot I think) so dont think the club need to go too wild on pricing as much as we would like it.

Interesting information Shrimperian ........ and adds a bit more shine to the position ...... but it also adds a little to my point that an offer involving 2 or more games might add a bit more incentive for people to come more regularly ...... and then (hopefully) it just becomes like an itch that needs to be scratched on a Saturday (or Friday night ....) :winking:

Would have to non transferrable surley to get any benefit. Or ticket sharing would come into play
