Would you have travelled over 150 miles for a pre season friendly, though, even if it is by the seaside? I'm not sure I would.

But I'm sure more than 15 Shrimpers would have. Bloody hell, we even know we had at least one of our fans at the Bermuda game!

Fair point there OS, our away support has been great over the past couple of seasons, even when we've not been doing so well.

Away friendlies do pull a few fans in from time to time and i'm sure we'd have had at least 100 there.

15 Col Ewe at Bourne muff just goes to show that they are sh!te and do lack the fan base to cut it at Championship level.

To be honest I gave up on the majority of friendly games many years ago home or away.
Most of them are no more than a training session, and have no bearing on what happens when the real stuff gets underway.

Fair point but you could have tied it in with a longer stay, as I intend to Bournemouth away in the league cup.

How come the "Why do you call us Borient" thread gets locked for being non SUFC but this one doesn't?

or is it ok to have a go at other teams but not ok if they give it back
