Things to do with the kids

After moving away to London in search of fame, fortune, and sexy goth ladies (1/3 ain't bad) me and the wife are planning to move back home this year. As I'm only in and around Southend for football and boozing I don't know what's good for the kids. Any recommendations for next weekend for a 3 year old? And any recommendations in general if we do make the move? Soft play, activities, things like that. ta

Monkey Business is recommended. Adventure Island, Adventure inside (Next to the pier)is good as well. But with all these places, they are mobbed at weekends. Unless you get there on opening time, as the first hour is not so unbearably busy.
Monkey Bizness Rochford is a childrens indoor soft play centre, suitable for ages from birth to 13 years old.
We have a sensory room, soft play areas for different age groups, rock climbing, go karts, a drop slide, a football/basketball pitch as well as offering parties for your little ones!

Liftans way kids park is the best kids outside play area, around Southend. The bottom of Southchurch Park. Again, best in the morning when not so busy.

Sea life isn't too bad. And you can upgrade your day ticket by paying an extra £1 or do and get unlimited entry fir a whole year. Also entitles you to 10% or 20% off eateries / attractions under the same adventure island brand.

Hadleigh Castle Country Park has loads of outdoor stuff too with the cycle track, rare breeds farm, a rather special cafe (part time hours) and of course, the lovely walks.

We're seeing the London market picking up again at the moment moving into SS7 because of its proximity to London, the C2C line and to Southend.

i really like it there. daughter wasn't sure at first, then one of the animals ate the food from her hand and she loved it. we did the bike with her on a shotgun seat and we both loved that.

we've been thinking about coming home for a while, my mum's in Thurrock, other family in Leigh and we'd get so much more for our money. plus I can get a season ticket again if we're walking distance. just got to find a place now
