The ticket Office

Tommy2holes

Life President⭐
Finally got my season card today after a bit of agro.
I have been slating the ticket office for the last week , but it has to be said that the 2 girls in there today were very helpful.

The club would do well to get more staff like that in, as the bloke i spoke to the other day sounded like he was on day release and his grasp of the english language was merely grunting and the words " i dunno " were worryingly programmed into to him like some kind of brainwashed puppet.

Cheers girls and thanks for the Lee Barnard card i will treasure it for life.

Still havent got mine :(, having read the threads on here, I waited for a bit, thought it might have been delayed a bit, but nothing still, might have to phone up the ticket office about it tomorrow.

The online ticketing service has been down for most of the week. I only managed to sort my Hudds tickets out a few minutes ago.

My Dad went in to the ticket office last week and was told that if you still have your card from last season then you don't need to do anything as the fixtures from this year will have automatically gone onto the existing card. Is this correct? Because I thought that in previous years you actually had to take your card in to the ticket office to get the new fixtures uploaded. I also have last season's card which I hope I'll be able to use on Saturday.

Unless you have swapped seats, or you are a new season card holder, then your Season Ticket doesnt need to be changed. That was what I was told.

Couldnot fault them last week, got tickets for Huddersfield and Walsall, wife was confused where I would sit sit, and girl behind the counter took time to call me and explain which seats were available on the day.
Credit due to the staff on the desk, which can be frustrating at times, but this time they offered 1st class service, if I could green rep them I would.

If some of you still havent heard anything from the ticket office I would ring them up to find out whats happening, a friend of mine went to buy tickets for the Ipswich friendly and asked for there season ticket seats, only to be told that 3 of there 4 tickets had been sold to someone else for the season.

So just to be on the safe side I'd ring up to check.

I have an existing season ticket in the same seats, renewed it, no fuss. :D

Dont count on that, my friend has been in the same seat for 8 years and had his sold to someone else.

Birthday free ticket???

I got an email in May (I am a Taur-arse) inviting me to get a free ticket for nowt and at no cost for 1st home game

I presume
A. they expected me to forget by August

B. This was before we all knew we'd be fielding a reserve side

C. It might have been v Stockport

D. we might have gone bust

Phoned the TO up yesterday asking about my new Season Cards (one seat relocation, one new ST). They were apparently printed and despatched last week but must have been lost in the post.

If this hadn't happened last season too then I might believe this (nothing else gets lost in the post). Once again the answer was "we'll print them off now and you can pick them up on Saturday". I hope this doesn't indicate that they've sold my seats to someone else like they did last year.

I wonder what sort of procedures and systems they have in place as it all seems a bit "make it up as you go along".
