In the land of 'Barret' homes, not too far from 'Eastwood' and a stones throw from 'Prior'y park The Blues plied their trade. At one time things looked bleak but instead of bringing in an established manager, the board said 'Sodje' and gave local lad Tilson the helm. RM told him he would succeed, 'you Wil-son, you will'. Tilson had the gift. He could sell 'Coles' to Newcastle. With his nippy 'MG' and 'Bentley' purring, the night-Maher was over. Like a 'Paynter' and decorator he gave new life to the off-colour Blues. He had one 'Brush' with disaster over a dodgy 'Rice' dish but that was settled amicably to the letter of the Law-son, to the letter of the law!. Tilson had 'Gutts'. He was not afraid. Tilson ran everything from the kit man to catering. Often he would order 'Cheese' for those rolls and 'Ham-mell' the rest. A little short on 'Flav'ours maybe but adequate. What got some peoples 'Goat' was the last summer trip. 'France-is' fine but oh no! It had to be Bermuda for Tilson. What a guy!. Tilson could be 'Clarke' Kent 'cos he sure is Superman to the fans. Everything is on the UP! So how is it people think he has dropped a 'Rickett'?.
