We've still only secured league wins at home against teams who wear striped shirts. So roll on the Palace match on February 20th

Actually i think the secret to avoiding relegation is me not being there! So far this season I have not seen Southend win! Do not fear though - I shall be going back to uni in Portsmouth on sunday!

Sorry guys, but it is none of the above. It is my lucky shirt. Got my first ever "current season" shirt for Christmas, and we haven't lost while I have been wearing it. Even made sure I used "quickwash" cycle to ensure that it would be clean and dry by kickoff.

And there was me thinking it was my father-in-law, he has seen 4 games this season, Stoke, Sunderland, Norwich away and WBA so he is yet to see them lose this season. If only we could all say the same thing.
