A great team. That said now we are a league one club with no more right than anyone else. I would love to have seen that team, i have met several of the team and they are true gents aswell.

true they were sneaky tough feckers,giles was an animal off the ball yet with it he could play 60 yard balls on a sixpence.

i have met several of the team and they are true gents aswell.

Yes but also the hardest barstards of that eara. Thats why they were so special they could play the beautiful game but mix it with anybody if they had to. Giles and Bremner in particular both had little man syndrome and put it about whilst Hunter never took any prisinors and Charlton had his little black book of names that would get anybody a life ban now if they confessed to.......oh **** just remembered... Col U knocked them out of the FA cup.....disregard all the above!
