Looking at the league table it would have to be said that the next 2 games are vital if we are to keep pace with the top 3 whilst fending off the chasing pack of which chesterfield are one of.

We may well be unbeaten but at the same time we are picking up a lot of draws.

We have to be looking for a 6 point maximum going into the new year.

Chesterfield under the floodlights friday will be a tough nut to crack though and Daggers away wont be easy as they are not the wounded animal they were last year.

We lose both and its starts to become a free for all in the top 7

Hard to see us losing both after 11 games unbeaten, however we have been drawing a few now (albeit tough games).

Certainly need to keep up the momentum if we have any aspirations of a top 3 finish.

We've had a tough run of games and so I wouldn't say anything is vital at the moment. Hopefully we'll get the wins but important is to keep this excellent run going, it means our whole team is on form and we have serious competition for places all across the pitch.

Exactly. it's far too early for anything to be vital. I get that we don't want to drop points and fall further behind the top two but we're going to drop points somewhere down the line. The important thing is that we're as consistent as we can be over the next 20 games.

What happened to that progress graph update we were getting early on ? Would be nice to see how we measure up now as we had a much better start last year but were faltering about now.

It's on the match ratings thread as it usually is.

Ah yes, must obviously make more effort to read that thread!

Still a bit behind where we were but if we can keep some consistency over the next month should see us in a decent position. January and the loans are going to be very significant, could really do without massive upheaval if possible.

Just got to take each game as it comes, stand up and be counted, concentrate on our own game, give 110%. At the end of the day like I say its a results business.

I think we'll smash both Chesterfield and Daggers.

Not to sure about Dagenham to be honest - they are on a good run and I thought we were a tad lucky in the home game against 10 men.

Both tough games but confidence is really high at the min, teams will be wary of us and our unbeaten run. 4 from 6 will be solid and keep the pressure on the teams above.

I thought it was 12 games unbeaten?
