The IT Crowd

10pm tonight on Channel 4, who will be watching and who is looking forward to it?

Cause I know I am.. :)

Never really got the IT Crowd. It's totally alright, but not something I'd go out of my way to stay in for like Peep Show or Screenwipe. Also whilst it undoubtedly has its moments, I sometimes feel the formula is almost like a watered down version of Graham Linehan's other comedy shows.

3 characters in a room, one grumpy, one stupid and one level headed to balance things out. Also, I find the girl in the IT Crowd very annoying.

I adore Father Ted. I like Black Books a lot, even if its in a similar mold to Ted structurally. Yet I'm totally nonplussed by The IT Crowd?

No doubt I'll buy it on DVD in the January sales though, love it and live to rue this post...

Cant say i am. Really not keen on the programme and the canned laughter in the background annoys me.

Have to agree with that. I was watching an advert for the new series of The Big Bang Theory and all I could hear was canned laughter!

Series 2 had some real gems. Best episode was the theatre trip.

Looking forward to the start of the new series.

Yeah, Roy in the disabled toilets having to climb in a wheelchair and getting carted off in the jubbly bus and Moss working behind the bar....quality

Sorry, gonna miss out, being dragged out for a drink with Dave Cusack (KLANG - the cavernous sound of a name being dropped strikes again).

I'm surprised there's another series. Surely there's only so many times you do the "IT guys are sad anoraks or social misfits" gags?

You would think there are only so many times someone can namedrop and not feel guilty ;)

Loved the first 2 series but last nights was quite disappointing. Funniest bits involved Douglas Renham the boss. Also no sign of Noel Fieldings Richmond character.

Richmond's not in Series 3 I don't think. I remember reading there were issues with filming schedules so he had to pass it up.

It was OK, not brilliant but still made me laugh a few times. Also, probably would say on reflection in terms of third series the first episode of The IT Crowd was probably better than last week's first Lead Balloon another of my all-time favourites)
