The Good ,the Bad and the Tiny .

THE SEVENTIES NORTH BANK

Life President⭐⭐🦐
The good : Bailey ,awesome display ,all over the place in a good sense and strangely our only goal threat .

The bad : Mulgrew ,started well and then made a howler and suddenly could not defend for toffee as his confidence drained and was an absolute liability .

The tiny : Flahavan ,positional sense for both goals was again shocking and like he wasn't even there for both goals ,he was so easily beaten .Very slow to react when the ball came under the wall ,when his famous reflex saves aren,t working his weaknesses are even more exposed .

I blame the wall for the 2nd goal, they all jumped in unison which is something they tell you not to do from a young age, therefore leaving Flahavan totally unsighted.

But judging by the TV evidence of the wall, it looked very badly aligned which is surely the keeper's responsibility to do properly. Martin spotted this & luckily for him the wall did jump too allowing the ball through.

If the wall had kept their feet on the ground the free-kick would have hit it.

I'd need to see it again, but I think the other Millwall player dummied as if he was going to put the ball over the wall, hence they all jumped!

They had a big sreen showing replays and yes they did have a guy dummying it which fooled the wall but a wall should NEVER jump! Maybe there's part responsibility on the wall and Flahavan's positioning of it.

The trouble is that he was covering the post to his right and did not get across in time .Always going to be a problem wether they shot under or over the wall .They very sensibly always aim for the gaping hole that he leaves .Happened time and again the last two seasons .
