Blue tinted optimist⭐🦐
Various discussions recently have led me to believe that there are two quite separate factions that exist between the fans. Basically, we all want what is best for SUFC. However, I, and some others, would like nothing more than for Ron to deliver what he has promised. We get the new stadium, the club eventually spirals upwards, we are in a better position and he sells.

However I do get the feeling there there are many who just want him gone at all costs and never mind the consequences as it cannot get any worse. This seems to indicate that any protest or action that may take place isn't actually to save the club; it's more designed to get Ron out. The two are actually probably quite close but they are not the same.

So, thinking carefully, would you want to take any action that may be possible to save the club (whatever that may be), or would you just want Ron out regardless, even if it meant that it could be to the clubs detriment in the future (in whatever form that may take)?

There aren't factions. We're all just fans hoping that we can pull through this. That's the spirit and attitude that we need, not separating us up into 'us' and 'them'.

The trouble is Beefy, I think there are. You're right, there shouldn't be but I'm just asking everyone to think hard about what the aims and objectives of any protest or action is in their mind.

The key has got to be to protect the club.

I would like Ron Martin out as I have lost all confidence and I really feel he has been shown up to be a liar time after time but all I really care about is SUFC at the end of the day.

I haven't voted as like Cricko, I want both. I want Ron out, as the longer he stays the more damage he seems to do; but I don't want him to leave to the detriment of the club, i.e. he pulls the plug on the way out.

Utopia is the club saved alongside Ron's departure, but the number one priority must be securing the clubs future.

No brainer really. I don't honestly care who it is, I just want someone to get us out of the mess we are in at the moment. I certainly can't be considered, in the past, as anti-Ron but I am starting to be highly sceptical about his ability to achieve and deliver what he wants for both the club and himself.

I voted Lech Walesa as he was the only Pole I could think of.

Seriously and others have said I want what is best for the club, I want the club to survive and hopefully prosper and continue my nigh on 50 year love affair.

But I'd caution as ever taking the first bid on the table because it's anyone but Ron Martin, the memory of Anton Johnson is all too fresh in my mind.

I don't care who runs the club as long at it survives and is in safe hands. Whether that is Ron or not i do not care, the trouble is i am losing all confidence that Ron is the man to do that and the club will be beyond repair before long.

As much as I don't approve of Martini's actions recently, if he managed to turn it all round and deliver his promises, I'd be the first in line to rub ointment into his creaking knees.

I can't believe a few people have gone for option 2 - surely you wouldn't risk seeing the club fold would you??!! The main objective simply has to be to save the club, even though my personal preference would be to do it with someone else in charge.

I haven't voted as like Cricko, I want both.

yup same as me, his spin has no effect on me and in truth I have always seen through him. I have said this for yearts that i didnt beleive a word he said. i got loads of abuse for not trusting him but we all know how that one turned out.
