the cup run

bas blue

Coach
anyone got any idea how much the ldv cup run was worth to the club ? how much we got for finishing runners up ? mill stad gate money etc. i havent got a clue

Last year we made £465,000 from it, so this year, I'd imagine it'll be just slightly more than that.

Once the accounts to June 2004 come out we may be able to see exactly how much we made from certain aspects of the run Prize money / Final Gate money
however things like gate receipts/ Food / programmes etc from the home games in the rournament are unlikely to be detailed. Merchandising may not be split either....

However they are STILL not out.....

Surely there is a law against the constant delaying of the Final Report and Accounts? As a shareholder I am getting a little annoyed that this is going on, as surely the last couple of years accounts wouldn't be bad reading?

Even if they don't they don't submit by then the fines wouldn't exactly bankrupt the company.

It take companies house ages before they'll consider striking off a company, even then the Inland Revenue would contest it.

Plus even if you did get your hands on a set of financial statements it wouldn't have the level of breakdown to understand the day to day running of the entity.

Just quoting the Regs.

I understood that they were due a few weeks ago after Ron had chatted to Delancey and the council. It's quite worrying there has been no news on this in the last few weeks. OK, the LDV was good, but the future of the club us considerably more important
