The Barry Corr interview.

THE SEVENTIES NORTH BANK

Life President⭐⭐🦐
Horses for courses springs to mind. The moans on here when we signed him. He had just played for Exeter and scored only 3 in 34 appearances. But he came here, loved the people, loved the fans, and loved the club. Everything clicked, and he produced his best form. It turned out he was just the striker we needed. Great in the air, and great on the ground. Best of luck to Barry when he starts his Managerial career. I think he will be a good Manager. Again, one of the unsung heroes under Paul Sturrock that could have gone to other clubs where he knew he would be payed, but still came to Southend, and backed Paul Sturrock.

Yup I remember a few moans and groans when we signed yet another perma-injured journeyman striker.

It is funny how it just 'clicks' at the right club for certain players.
You mean fans moan about us signing players? I can't believe that would ever happen 🤣

And it will click for one of our forwards this coming season. I don’t care who but I would love it (LOVE IT) if it happened to be Walker.

I still say that goal against orient is one of if not the most pandemonium infused celebrations i have been involved in. It was a cold night, i had my big coat on a jumper and a t shirt.....the t shirt was torn during the goal celebrations in TBV, honestly i dont know why but the scenes/limbs for that goal were bananas.
