Hi Folks

The club would like to thank all those of you who made the long journey to Bayview for our Football Festival.

We hope you enjoyed yourselves - despite the slightly disappointing results - and that you had a safe journey back home.

Best wishes and hopefully we can do this again sometime - though we'll need to get in a new stock of Directors' ties.

Eugene Clarke
Director,
East Fife FC

It was a pleasure to meet you all - as you say the football for us was a little disappointing but the hospitality from yourselves, along with the Raith and Dundee fans was first class and something you should be rightly proud of. I gather a number of our support attempted to drink your bar dry on Saturday night and I'm sure they will be along soon enough to offer their own thanks. Currently sat at Edinburgh airport looking forward to the next tournament at your place!

Yep I am now a director or east fife and I got to announce the teams today!!!

Truly magical time utterly superb time east fife there will forever be a place in my heart for you guys

Sounds like you guys did Southend proud up in Scotland, whats with the bit about being East Fife directors, an honary title won over a drinking match perhaps?:winking:

Anyway glad you all enjoyed yourselves and all home safe.

East Fife you were 1st class!!
myself and my misses totally enjoyed everything about the weekend even the drive home was good home by 11.15pm
The banter between the lady announcer and true blue was superb leading him to get his big moment when announcing the teams before yesterdays game.
She liked us so much that she sat amongst us all on both days.
Our support was excellent my misses said the guy at the tea bar said 'your a noisey lot were not used to all this noise' what a great tribute to the 100 or so of us that made the journey.
As a footnote the footy was not that good but fife and the surrounding areas are a lovely place to visit lets hope we get a chance to go back next season.
I will look out for their results this season.
On another note did anyone else notice the Raith number 7 (iain williamson) during both games he was a center midfield player thought he was very neat and tidy never giving the ball away.
As for us not many performances to shout about but for the 1st time i could see why luggy likes Luke Prosser yesterday he was made captain and led the team well always talking and organising he also had a very good game so well done Luke.

Ah but how did he do against Great Wakering Rovers?

Football was nothing to shout about but it was a friendly and more about fitness, I am currently living in Fife till October and it was nice to see some old faces again and we was made to feel very welcome by all. I hope East Fife enjoyed our banter

got home at 20.00 had a great weekend football could have been better. but couldnt fault the scotish fan made us all welcome, had three great nights in edinburgh with 8 fellow shrimpers.
