Tesco Pitsea roller skate man

Mad Cyril

The Fresh Prince of Belfairs⭐⭐🦐
Anyone know what happened to the Tesco Pitsea roller skate man?

He seems to have disappeared along with The Owl Man.

His name I believe was Tommy Opperton, and he was a colleague of a couple of guy's I work with now, although he was before my time.

He unfortunately passed away around four years ago, but I believe he was well into his eighties when he was skating around Tesco's.

As I said he was before my time, but by all accounts a really nice guy.

Ahhh, sad news, he always brightened up a miserable Saturday morning whizzing about in there showing the youngsters how to "wheel" with style.

Talking of pitsea tesco my girlfriend got mugged there the other night. There really is trashy people out there.

Back on topic. I go regularly and i have never seen anyone there on skates.

I remember the grafitti on the wall near the cliffs pub, apparently Liquid Ray was a grass
Edit . It was in Hamlet Road at the junction with ashburnham
