Tension in Cambridge dressing room

Southend Shrimp

Youth Team
From BBC.co.uk:

Cambridge pair Luke Guttridge and Danny Webb provided an extraordinary end to their side's win over Shrewsbury.
Referee Mike Russell was forced to book the team-mates when they pushed and shoved each other after Guttridge failed to set Webb up in front of goal.

Cambridge's winner saw Shane Tudor's shot loop up off Dan Chillingworth to wrong-foot Shrews' keeper Scott Howey.

It was Shrewsbury who finished with ten men as James Tolley was sent off for two yellow cards.

What a nice build up to our game.

In what way will this be a nice build up to our game with them on Saturday? Hmmm, I don't know... any one of these I'd say!

Will it mean we will walk all over them because there is a certain tension among the Cambridge ranks?

Will it mean that the Cambridge forwards will now be so fired up that they will take it out on us on Saturday?

Will it mean that Cambridge will be weakened through perhaps lack of communucation and because we aren't playing too well, we will be unable to capitalise on their weaknesses?

I refuse to make a prediction on anything like this until we are safely mid-table or higher!

An interesting snippet before our game anyway, but I don't see why it would affect us. All it shows is a bit of passion on the field. Didn't a certain Henry and Pires have a similar spat last season?

We WILL win this game!

Oh no! Coming from you, that's a bad sign. Very bad indeed.

SUFC 0 Cambridge 6 me thinks.

Note to Mike: this is NOT my prediction for the preddy league!

Saturday will be my first game of this season and I am hoping for our first win. If I hear any muppets sat in the east greens moaning I am liable to tell them to shut their f@@@@ing Hole or start cheering the team as encouragement usually works better than constant abuse.

Quality stuff, Artful.

Worth a giggle, that.  If only to see what Webb has done to his Alf!!
