collis is good keeper, lee turner admits there is nothing to choose between them apart from 6 inches

tilly has his favorites and will stick with them im afraid, better the devil you know he thinks

maccy D makes some intelligent runs put we aint got the quality to find him most of the time, see this a lot in pre season

How about an injured Steven Hammell making things happen just off the front two, JCR as sweeper and Matt Harrold in an Owen Hargreaves type role? I would also play Lewis Hunt as the lone striker and Lee Bradbury (an old head) at the back to shore things up.

if we were going to play 3 wingers (and you know JCR would drift wide in that formation), I'd probably want a taller striker than Charlie Mac.

yeah fully understand that jcr would drift wide, but isnt that tillys job to tell where to be, jcr would do well running direct to goal, ALL defenders at any level dont like quick people running at them through the centre

Great idea, said we should play JCR down the middle some time ago. Black and Mcdonald need to start, and lets get away from the idea that we must have a player to hold the ball up, upfront. Whats the point when the players to fill that roll themselves, couldn't score in a brothel.

I've thought about a formation like that myself, having Bailey/Maher and Macca patrolling the centre midfield but then having a line of 3 attacking midfielders with a lone striker.

The team will be exactly the same as it was for Leeds come on this is Tilly we are talking about the only change that might happen is Maher for Bailey dependant on Maher. We have to face the facts Tilly see's something in Harrold and will not give Super Mac a chance. Which is wrong. Should be Super mac and Bradders up front to start.
