I know there is probably another thread on this somewhere but I cant be bothered to trawl through here to find it......

I assume most have now received there key fob things. I registered mine this morning so I could have a look to see where we can obtain points.
I looked up the high street outlets etc and was wondering if anyone else thinks its a little unfair that most particpating outlets arent even in the county!!

I still want to get one, but I thought it was too late to get one? How long do they last for, just until the end of the season?

i have 4 seaso's in my house. 2 have received the cards and 2 not. might give the club a ring in the next few days to chase the missing 2.

I'm not a STH and haven't received my team card (well except for that printed ticket thing after i ordered it)

Im not sure if it is worth it just until the end of the season.

Has anyone actually registered theirs yet and looked at the places where you can earn points?!

Think it a bit much that we can get treble points at Connors Sports and Trophies, Tewkesbury.

Team card also have agreements with a number of clubs, the "local" retailers which wish to support fans of these clubs have to offer points to Team card as opposed to , say, Bolton Teamcard. so these local traders appear. it would appear that Essex based companies have not picked up on this yet.

I was dissapointed that a number of retailers only do it online (ie Asda and Tesco) especially as Asda don't deliver in our area !

Unfortunately a number of these shops are the same as ones who give a commission to the trust (if you link to the shop via the web site) so every point on your card for shopping at Amazon is money the trust isn't getting.

If I can remember I will try and use the trust for their shops and the teamcard for tesco's etc....

Does anyone know if you have to access the shops via the teamcard site to get the points ? or do you put a code in at the checkout ? (Which I doubt)

This is what I was wondering. Not really sure how it all works... I assume you can click on the link from the site but im not 100%. Sometimes online you get asked to enter promotional codes etc so maybe this is where you do it. Its all a bit cloudy at the moment!

Well online Tesco shopping should be fun ! Tesco clubcard points, more tesco points for paying with the tesco creditcard and Teamcard points as well .....
At least it all helps keeps the price of the weekly shop down

i beleive there are more shops to be added as the memebership scheme gets bigger. Im sure more local businesses will join in the scheme once it gets going as it will be a benifit to them, basically free advertisment.

Yeah hopefully thats what I thought. Will be quite good if a lot of businesses get involved and we will be able to collect points at a better rate to make us better off than having the 10% discount hopefully. Like you say its free advertising for them too.

Yes and I doubt I will be going for a Macdonalds in Ipswich too soon either! Hopefully we will get some local retailers picking up on it soon....

Haven't registered mine yet but Macdonald's in Ipswich is a possible for me! Don't suppose there are any outlets in Colchester? I hope is comes up saying the club name when you use it!!! :raspberry:

I have registered as a matter of course, but as is usual with all these loyalty schemes ie Nectar etc you will have to spend a fortune to get very little back.I brought a new kitchen on one reward scheme and for the points accumulated I was able to buy £50's worth goods.

Registered mine on saturday when I received renewal for ST. I was also a little disappointed with the lack of places locally to use it.
Still the little card makes a great key ring
