Taylor v Barneveld

President
Well, well, well!

New years day evening will be a superb occasion.

Two superb darts players on the top of their game battling it out for the right to be Ladbrokes.com PDC world darts champion 2007. I can't wait!

It should be a sporting occasion to cherish.

I just hope Mr Taylor makes it world title number 14, but it will be a very close game i can tell you!

Let battle commence!!!

Shame both semi-finals were such a wash out, but at least we have the final we all want.

I'll go for Taylor to win 7-5 in a game where both players will average at least 106.

Well it didn't disappoint, did it? I wanted Taylor to win, but hats off to van Barneveld, he's a truly great dart player.

Superb final!

Proper edge of the seat stuff.

I wanted Taylor to win, but hats off to Barney!

Both great sportsmen at the top of their game, and with total respect for each other. Spot on!

It was a cracker. Glad Barney won, as wanting Taylor to win is like wanting Schumacher or Man United to win.

Barney's hardly a plucky little underdog though is he?

Indeed. It's a bit like wanting Liverpool to win instead. Lesser of two evils, mind...
