Tattoos

I didn't post the last time this came about so I'll do it now.

I have two and would get more done as long as I could think of something I really really want! Even though some people don't like them...

Yeah it's because I had literally just had it done when that photo was taken. I think it was red where he'd been wiping the ink off and cleaning it. The actual process itself didn't hurt nearly as much as the other one! Only took 20 minutes as well so I was pretty chuffed! Plus people keep saying how nice it is which is good to hear as I designed it myself. Little ego boosts like that get me through the day lol

I like tats, have a couple myself and would consider having more.

First tat was done when i was 18 years old, i was with 3 friends and we were considerably drunk so in our alcohol fuelled state decided to get tattoos of cartoon characters done. Had it done half way up Pier Hill but this was 22 years ago so can not quite remember the name of the parlour.

Greens for the first one to name the cartoon character!!

I decided to have the second one done 5 years ago when i accepted a job offer in Aberdeen and moved North. The biggest wrench for me was not being able to go to Roots Hall every week and missing the Blues.....so thought one way of keeping them close with me up in sweaty land was to get a tat on the badge on my arm and wear it with pride.

Yosemite Sam mate!

This is going to sound really bad, but you'll know what I mean - have I got your "wet place"?

:O

As James Fox said to Mick Jagger in Performance:

"You'll look funny when you're 50."

I have a similar attitude to tattoos that I have to graffiti - I find some of it interesting/amusing but wouldn't want it anywhere near my own property.

I don't like the 'realistic' family portrait style tattoos that some blokes have of their kids.

Someone i used to work with just had one done, it looked alright in the end but i can't say i'm a fan.

Does it make a difference to people whether its a female or a bloke with one?

I'm afraid I am no longer a dancing monkey. MK Shrimper sacked me on Friday after I wouldn't do the mashed potato.
