After the trio of home games, we are on the road again to the Midlands and The Lamb Ground, home of Tamworth FC.

The Lambs, managed by Andy Peaks, were promoted last season from National League North and currently sit in 15th place in the table - they also had a decent run in the FA Cup this year going out to Spurs in the 3rd round in extra time. They have one familiar face in their squad in the shape of striker Chris Wreh. They lost 2-1 at Yeovil on Tuesday evening and their current form is not that great with only one win from their last six league games.

Their only two wins in the last ten league games have been against teams in the relegation zone - Wealdstone and Boston.

Due to the run of Saturday/Tuesday games, Kev has chosen to mix things up a bit recently and so although Hayes, GSM, Taylor, Ralph, Bridge, Morton and Husin seem to be sure of their starting places - the other 4 places in the starting XI seem to be up for grabs.

So who would you choose to start on the 3G pitch against the team we beat 2-0 in the home fixture earlier this season, and what do you predict the result will be?

Yes, Tommy Tonks' long throws are impressive and dangerous. I'm sure we'll be well aware of that. We rarely shine on synthetic pitches so let's hope that we've been training hard on one this week.

I've got my ticket. Having looked at the away terrace I'm going to be sitting in with the home supporters and trying desperately to keep quiet when we score....

That would seriously make for an un-enjoyable match for me, not being passionate about the game, after a minimum 5hr round journey to see it. I'd rather stay at home and watch. Each to their own. Put your mobile phone light on after 10mins so we know its you 🤣

If the game at Eastleigh on a plastic pitch is anything to go by, absolute borefest for 90mins, tempered by a goal scored by a total miss-hit and the keeper diving over the top of the ball as it came to him 🤣

Soooo looking forward to Saturday and more of the diving and time wasting we've become used to from lesser clubs finding their feet in the NL. Praying for an early Southend goal so we can stroke it around like a training sesh.

Hoping we play both golding and goodliffe who I think will deal with 'tummy' tonks's long throws.
Golding and Goodliffe looked pretty solid in the nightmare at Maidenhead. Only thing was moving Ralph to wing back that wasn’t so successful. Ralph is pretty useful
in the air so would it be Taylor to give way assuming three at the back ?

Would revert to our more defensive lineup and bring kendall back in

----- Hayes -------
Taylor - Goodliffe - Golding
GSM* ------------------ Ralph
--- Husin - Morton - Coker ---
------- Hopper - Kendall ------

* Personally, would also drop GSM for Wind, but as a goal scoring outlet, cant leave him out the side!

EDIT: To clarify, I'm picking this as I suspect its what Kev will go with....

I can see Keenan starting for us on this plastic pitch, he's fresh and very eager to get a game and his energy will be welcome. Our wing play will be so important on this surface, having ability to turn over posession and have quick attacks will, i feel, be beneficial. Not like us i hear you say, but there you are.
Lets see what happens.

You’d have Coker ahead of Leon? Be surprised if he doesn’t start again after impressing Tuesday
