Strange game, two strange co commentators. Hardly a shot saved or on target, yet ends up 2-1 to part time Tamworth. Gateshead were clearly the better side, but Tamworth played their plastic pitch better. That pitch definitely helped the two promotions on the trot to get here. The commentators were OK when speaking of the game, but some of the other stuff, Jeez. Even boasting at one point when they say a word each before the game, and they have to include it in commentary, example, Melon or Quadruple, Lol. Then the Tamworth fans sang the 'No one likes us song' as their loudest song every now and again. Strange. About a hundred fans from Gateshead made the journey. Almost non stop rain, and not a great game. Annoying, as Southend don't have to be brilliant to beat these types of teams, but we're playing worse than both of them at the moment.
