Watched TILAF tonight as I had heard our very own "The General" was making an appearance, which he did. Don't worry though the post of Southend is safe as he looked like a rabbit in headlights (only messing Kev)

He got £100 for saving it, which he says he put to charity.

I offered him £150 to let it in but he weren't having any of it.

Why did you try to blast it? I said before the kick was taken, "pound to a penny he will try to put his foot through it!" As a former keeper, you expect it!! :winking:

Saying that, with £500 riding on the kick, its more pressure than most of us have had to contend with for a penalty though!!

My brother did the "Fenner's Tenners" at the end. Was a laugh to see him mess up a few times with the hand shakes. I don't know what made him wear that awful hat though. I did plead to him not to wear it on screen. :blush:
