Why play this formation today Mr tilson,Francis on the right wide(not awide man)Hammell on the wide lefte(if you play him give him the bloody ball at least).Morgan upfront as a loan striker(he is a wide man not a strker).

If you are not going to play Charlie Mac upfront get rid of him.In my view apart from Leon he would be the first striker on my team sheet.He did more today in 10 minutes than majority of the players did in 90 minutes.As for Maher I think his numbers are numbered with us,he has totally gone of the boil and does not look happy any more.

One good to come out of today were the 1024 loyal fans who made the journey we were all noisy and commited shame the team did not show the dedication and commitment we did.

Sounded dire on the radio. Paul Clark reckoned we were playing 3-5-2. In truth I reckon Tilly had lost patience with Hooper and Harrold and made the best of what he had avaliable. I too would like to see Charlie Mac get a chance but suspect it will be Clarke and Morgan up front on Wednesday. At least we are still in the Cup and we should be good enough to go through to the next round.

Francis may not be a natural wide right player, but he wasnt playing there, he was playing wingback. He is probably the fastest player in the team and has a really decent cross on him, thats why he played there.

with regards to maher. I have no idea whats going on with him. but everytime he's played in the last few games he continues to let the team down. he was non-existant yesterday and was constantly losing the ball and then casually walking back.

I'm sure Tilson sometimes sits and reads the drastic overreactions to be found frequently on this board and thinks "alright then lads if you think you know so much let's see if it works."

For example, with all the threads slagging Hooper and Harrold after last week, and the numerous suggestions for a change of formation, I wouldn't blame him for proving a point to a few people.

Obviously I don't think he actually does this as it would be cutting off your nose to spite your face but he must be tempted with all the rubbish that gets spouted on here after a defeat / draw / win that doesn't meet the required standards (Rochdale).

I didn't go yesterday (first away game I've missed all season bar Blackpool) because of the behaviour of our fans at Luton. I've got no problem with the way the team has performed so far this season, it's clear we're going through a bad spell but we will bounce back, it's the fans I have issues with at the moment, some of them need a serious reality check.

As Jai knows, I disagree with him on certain issues, particularly with relation to the team's ability to get the season back on track. I do believe Tilly has hit a tactical wall and doesn't really know where to turn. I do however also know that I couldn't do better, so I am going to reserve judgement to quiet disapproval as opposed to screaming from the terraces.

What I am in complete agreement with however, is the opinion of our fans. Yes, we all have a degree of fickleness within us including myself, but our fans have been a disgrace this season. I did not go to Oxford either for similar reasons (and because I suspected the performance and/or result would ruin my only clear weekend for months), but if I am not sitting around a load of ignorant morons chanting anti-Harrold songs, I am getting involved in handbags with fellow 'supporters' about trying to focus on cheering on their team rather than abusing the few players who have actually been trying this season.

My honest opinion is that there is a massive sense of frustration from our relegation last season from a desperately poor Championship, and the fact that Tilly does not seem to have identified or cured some of the fundamental problems from last season (e.g. inability to kill off teams when in the lead, propensity to rest on our laurels at key times during matches and make schoolboy defensive errors from set-pieces) is manifesting itself in a feeling and atmosphere (particularly at Roots) which is both more impatient and unpleasant than usual.
Ultimately, the players and the management need to give us something to cheer about, but in-fighting and vitriolic outbursts amongst our fans are not going to help.
