PL Cup SZ PL 2012 Christmas Cup

Hi everyone, and welcome to the 2012 Christmas Cup .. in a short while i'll work out some fixture rounds but before we get to the knockout stages we need to get to the requisite 32 players

To do this i will be taking the scores from the opening two rounds (vs The Posh and Stanley) and picking the highest 32 individual scorers, you can afford to have one poor round but you need to hit the ground running or else miss out on the first round draw altogether

As players you don't need to do anything different to usual, Harry will put the fixtures up and you will predict as normal. i will then match your scores with an opponent and the highest scorer wins like any proper knockout match, there'll be a gap in rounds to allow for replays. Failure to post during a cup week will mean a walkover for your opponent

After much faffing about we have arrived at our 32 qualifiers

After the first 2 rounds the highest scorers were .. Danshrimper, canveyshrimper, CCCsiders, manor15, southend aussies, sufc dave, chapperzUK, Drastic, Gt Yarmouth Shrimper, RyanSmyth, B1ueb0y, Blue Wes, BLUEBLOOD, BLUEBLOOD Junior, Brettie Angell, class, davewebbsbrain, DoDtS, JamesTheSuperBlue, ldnfatso, mcnasty, MK Shrimper, south247, SUFCEssex and The Big Shrimp.

These 25 would be joined by 7 of the players that had scored 5 in the first qualifier. on first countback Cricko, Dave the Shrimper, D.O.L.L and ol blue eyes were eliminated while Harold Bishop Killer, Nestudas, Roxy and Staines Shrimper made it 29 through. Finally Lucky Luca, Shrimper95, SupaBlues & TrueBlue played off for the final 3 spots while were were going through the motions at Oxford. Big Scott failed to post so the other 3 moved into the main draw which will be made a bit later with Round One coming up next Saturday
