Really beginning to wonder if playing in this friendly cup is doing my players any good ???? Its like the lowly village team of Mullion taking on the England side every week. I am getting a right royal tanking every week. Does the experience benefit my players or do the drubbings have an effect on their morale.

I think ShrimperZone CC have cheated and come to the ground early, changed the wickets to cocktail sticks, made the bats like paddles and changed the cricket ball for a football. How else could they possibly survive the onslaught of my puny bowlers so well. Ho Hum another game down the pan.

Perhaps it will be a game of 2 halves. There again....if I can get into the dressing room at the tea break, maybe I will spike the oppositions cucumber sandwiches or better still, tell my team to go home without telling the opposition.

ShrimperZone CC cheated again. They changed the cocktail sticks to fence posts, gave us sticks for bats and used ping pong balls to bowl at us. Not only that they chatted up our tea ladies who then forgot to spike their sandwiches and my team were deaf so they forgot to go home before the second half.

Don't ever come here again cause you will get more of that

I forgot to set my team for the game as well. That was my default line up. I've been using a few reserves in the other games. Specifically the one I lost early on. If I had played my full team in that game I would have gone through.

I needed 28 runs with 5 (i think) overs to go, and 2 wickets in hand to make the 290 you suggested, and then she tells me she has an item ending on ebay.... by the time i got back to BT, it was game over :(
