SZ Battle Of The Bands Round 1.
Voting closes in exactly 24 hours.

In the First Round of the competition, 9 inch nails (Sponsored by Mr Gilbo have been drawn against Radiohead (GlasgowSUFC)

Post your Video clips, arguments, support and loathing. If both contenders are evenly matched, let your vote be swayed by the evidence at hand. Only place your vote when you are certain.
In the (unlikely?) event of a draw, the final decision will fall to Cricko who will base his decision solely on the evidence available in the thread.

No competiton despite how far Thom Yorke has travelled up his own bottom recently.

have you even heard In Rainbows? it's a absolutely brilliant album and I defy anyone to think he sounds stuck up, snobby or preachy on it... it is so personal and moving, the lyrics are astounding and they have finally found the perfect balance between electronica and alt-rock songs

Come on people, before I can get any YouTube supporting evidence up, remember this is the band who changed the face of music in the 90s and even more so recently with the way they have marketed new album In Rainbows. Thom Yorke is so Rock N Roll he (like the rest of the UK it would seem) didn't pay one pence for his album!

Thom Yorke said:
Why do I need to pay for my own album? It's just like moving money from one pocket to another

Didn't mind In Rainbows, but Kid A and Amnesia were appalling.

you wouldn't have In Rainbows if it wasn't for Kid A and Amneisac. Kid A is a masterpiece but Amnesiac is weak but with a few blinding moments, personally HTTT is their weakest album and that includes Pablo Honey!

Really like both bands, but Trent Reznor is the man. And they were awesome at Glastonbury 2000, NIN for me.

Never really been in to Nine Inch Nails, but can't say I'm a huge Radiohead fan either.

However, "Just" is a fantastic song and video.

Why is that fella on the floor?

More like what does he say so that everybody ends up on the floor!
Love that video & precisely the reason why I got into Radiohead & still love them with a passion to this day.

He actually donst say anything (I know the Greenwoods brothers older sister :D) its just made up .Radiohead for me , only people i know who like NIN are muscians who greatly appreciate Trent ;)

So the official band line of "we know what he says but don't want to spoil it for people" is just mince then?

Also, always think the traffic cop in that video resembles Alan Sugar :p
