SZ Battle of the Bands

After the excitement of The Totty Cup (doffs cap to SBH .. Well Played Sir !!! ;) ) and TBs constant puerile tirade against metal, i wish to propose our very own Battle of the Bands !!!!

I reckon the same format could work again.. ie the first 16 posters who express an interest get to choose a group / singer, and the the Shrimper nation post clips of said band with a 24hr voting window ... now i'm sure its well known that certain SZers already have their favourites like me (Pink Floyd) Cricko (Vera Lynn) True Blue (The Village People) etc.. but who you you back ??

The only problem i have is due to a real lack of spare time at the moment i couldn't actually run the comp, so i'd be looking for someone to take on the organisation of it all.
I will add a poll to gauge reaction and we'll take it from there

You'd think so wouldn't you? But no, The Beatles will always be my first musical love that were passed to me be my Dad from my earliest memory.

My love for all things musical to this day stems from those days listening to Beatles singles on an old mono record player as a very young child.

Well its certainly looking like you folks want to see it happen (the poll is open till the end of the week, so plenty of time for it to change of course) but like i said in my opening salvo, due to work commitments .. ie they want me to work as opposed to being on SZ all day :guns: :guns: i really don't think i'll have the time to manage this thing, so i'll be very shortly looking for a volunteer to actually put this thing in motion. If its something you feel you could do them please PM me and we'll sort some details
