Games are coming thick and fast and it's off to Swindon tomorrow, 15:00 hrs ko. I think the goalie (love that word) position and the back four will remain exactly as they were yesterday. Similarly Lenny, Wordsworth and Atkinson are also nailed on certs to play.

The front liners will depend on who is most fit and up for it. I reckon Fortune will be rested and Ranger will lead the line alongside Cox probably. I don't have a clue who will fill McLaughlin's spot however. I've got us down for a 2-1 away win in the prediction league but 1-1 would not surprise me.

Good luck and safe journey to those of you who make the journey to Wiltshire and lets hope the run just keeps going and going.

McGlashan would appear to be the natural replacement for McLaughlin, but being an away game, there's a shout for O'Neill playing there, possibly.

Think Ranger and Cox will start, unless Cox is rested to protect his groin, just for this one.

Loved this extract from a Charlton poster yesterday:

Phil Brown has got the shrimp(er)s playing like man eating sharks, shows what can be done with a squad of cheap but shrewd signings, they're bang in form ..

Lets hope Swindon are scared of sharks:smiles:

Me and my son are going to this one, went to MK Dons away and a great result that day. We are paying on the day, anyone have any ideas how many tickets have been sold? As it`s a Bank holiday, would have thought 400 - 500. We are on a great run and have some hard games coming up, but those teams are probably thinking the same thing about playing us.
Happy New Year to all on Shrimperzone, and let`s hope it`s a year to remember. Up the Blues.

It'll be interesting whether Brown thinks Hines is worth some consideration to replace McLaughlin for this one or whether he'll stick with McGlashan. I expect that to be the only change.

Don't post on here just scan for news and views, however am in need of some help from you fellow shrimpers, I have bought 3 tickets online for Swindon but never picked them up from the hall, does anyone know if they will be sent up to the ground for collection tomorrow??

they usually are - if youre on twitter tweet them.

If Hines is not in the squad tommrow to sit on the bench why the hell did we sign him Another wage packet being given away .

With the way the league is shaping up and the top sides keep churning out results PB MUST be setting the side out to WIN as a draw may not be disaster but 3 points are needed.
For this I believe he will keep the same team at the back and midfield and replace MacL with Hines and Ranger back to partner Cox.

I would love to see Z. Hine in the squad, I think he start on the bench & McGleash start, then a straight swap after that for fresh leg on the wing to cause their tireding full back problem. Ranger & Cox be bang up for it as it's their old club.

I take my own with a flask of bovril. I take it you'll be there?

Yes, just arranged my tickets in the last hour. I don't take my own sandwiches I like the anticipation and excitement of what other clubs have to offer. I find it all adds to the car journey.

At Walsall we had a hot roast beef roll with a side order of potatoes and veg. Now who in their wildest dreams could have guessed that would be available. Tried to get pie in the East blues the other week and they had run out. The lad behind me couldn't even buy anything for his son.

Unfortunately, I think he's got to make some changes for this one. Some of the older, experienced players looked leggy at the end of yesterday's game. May be time to give them a rest (or a switch at HT) and hope they are good to go against the blades. This is where managers really do earn their stripes..how to utilise the other squad members, without upsetting the rythm of the team.

I'd look at starting with Ranger and Cox; mainly because Cox 1-0 is my bet!
