Of course it is....I cannot beleive this is even a debate.

Key points of the deal include.

* ADDS PRETTY COLOURS TO AN OTHERWISE BLAND DINNER PLATE
* IF ADDED WITH BUTTER CAN COMPLEMENT ANY MEAT
* EASY TO PREPARE ALLOWING MORE TIME ON MEATS AND SPUDS
* LOVELY IF COVERED IN GRAVY.
* GOOD SOURCE OF ROUGHAGE POSSIBLY.

To counter this argument:

* IS NOT EVEN A VEGETABLE
* LOOKS LIKE ROTTING BABY TEETH ON YOUR PLATE
* IS CARP BAIT
* IF YOU BITE ON A KERNEL IT EXPLODES IN YOUR MOUTH AND FILLS IT WITH A KIND OF WATERY LADIES JUICE
* SPECKLES YOUR POO YELLOW

*Adds colour? So do carrots, spring greens, parsnips. Proper veg.
*Butter? With a roast? You're diging yourself in deeper here.
*As if proper veg are difficult to prepare!
*Quite possibly. I might give you that one.
* As are many proper vegetables.

Is this related to the other poll doing the rounds?

I'd happily have it with chicken and corn on the cob can grace any plate as far as I'm concerned. Apart from leaving loads of bits of **** in your mouth.

Corn on the cob and sweetcorn are 2 so different kettles of fish entirely, so much so you coud prpbably have a vote or something on it...

Sweetcorn on a sunday is a no-no
