Just had a look at the Swansea squad on their official site.

Now, one of the things we're always banging on about on here is cover and competition for places, which we tend to have at Southend.
We also look on enviously as Swansea splash out here there and everywhere on Strikers - and we think we'll never be able to compete.
However, it takes more than strikers to win football matches!
Swansea have TWELVE strikers on their books!!
BUT
They only have six recognised midfielders?? Granted one or two of those strikers can play out of position on the wings - but when you've 12 players competing for two positions in one area of the park and 6 competing for 4 positions in another area, it doesnt take a genius to work out where their problems may come...
Ok, they're signing Darren Way - but given just one or two injuries in midfield Swansea might not be so hot... Strikers are no good if they aint got the ball - and thats what you need midfielders for...
