Supporters Tournament

Hi,
I’m just mailing to invite you guys to enter our winter fans team tournament which we have decided to host again on October 10th after the success of the summer one.

The tournament will consist of 5-a-side games, each taking 15 minutes in the group stage, before extending into 20 minutes (two 10 minute halves) in both the semi-final and final. Each team will get a minimum of 6 games, as there will be two groups of 7 teams if all goes to plan.

Registration will begin at 9:15, before the tournament itself kicks off at 10. The bar will be open, and food and changing facilities will be available. It should all be finished by around 5:30. It is hoped we will have some kind of award for the winners and hopefully the runners-up too.

It will cost each team £25 to enter, and they are allowed to bring 10 players maximum in their squad. It is not forseen that sides will be need to bring ‘B’, or even ‘C’ teams like last year, although those wishing to do so can register their interest and if spaces are available they are more than welcome.

For those who do not know already Radcliffe is situated in between Bolton, Bury and Manchester.

Here’s hoping for a successful tournament, and your participation,

Ryan Lewis (Razz2k@aol.com)

Unfortunately SZFC will not be able to make appearance as we will be playing our first home game of the season at Garons- 10:30am, so if anyone fancies popping over it would be good to see you!!
