Hils, I asked this question about a month back particularly as it would be good practise for some of us! It got ignored completely unfortunately. Would love to see it back even if only every other week.

Think we should just keep bumping the thread until it does get noticed!
Even if a couple of us get together and do one in the chat room, at least you'll still be getting some practise in and for me, who ain't taking part in the show, something to do on a Sunday night!

I shall do one again on Thurs if I remember. I just didnt have time to do it in the end over the past year cos of work.
They track what websites you go on at work, so you've gotta be a bit careful. They only started doing it when one Science teacher booked a holiday on the net whilst she was meant to be teaching lol

Think Glasgow and I ran the last one as a one off while John was on a wee sabbatical, maybe we could do that, take it in turns to do them in pairs or something - scoring and questioneering - that way Cricko could take part, but we're not reliant on him being there if he can't.

It didn't work very well with the new chatroom setup though.
We'd need to try & work around it some other way if it was to be brought back!
I quite like the idea though now there's no more new Top Gear on Sunday evenings & the nights are drawing in once more!

It wasn't as smooth as the old setup, only about 7 or 8 of the last posts were visible so it was tricky to score. People also complained the questions went off screen too quickly.
Getting a secure MSN/Yahoo chatroom was suggested if we take it on again.

There is an option to go full screen in there which would show at least 30 posts.

OK - probably somebody would need to do an idiot guide so everybody could switch their settings onto this then beforehand.

It's extremely easy to increase the screen size.
Underneath the screen where all the "chat" appears, there is a row of little icons. The one you need is the third one from the right, which is a picture of two screens, one over the other, similar to the minimise/maximise symbol at the top right corner of a window. Hover your cursor over this symbol and it will say "Float & Dock". Click it, and it will expand the size of the chatroom screen immensely. Click it again and it goes back to the smaller size.
